HMRC have got rid of the SA302 and replaced it with the annual tax summary They now appear to have changed the annual tax summary so that it is unacceptable to a mortgage provider.
Anyone got any ideas before my client commits murder or hara -kiri

I am at the point of refusing to do mortgage certificates unless clients use one of the 2 preferred brokers that I use.
As everytime someone else gets involved it just ends up a shambles, as most still dont get the income of small company director.
Use the summary from your own software and the tax year overview from SA online, which should satisfy the requirements.

Absolutely. I'm often left to wonder if HMRC does anything to work with its "customers"?
Mind, with a mix of politicians (of all persuasions) and civil servants - what should one really expect?

We tried that but because the client has a complex tax situation resulting in no tax being payable the Annual Tax Summary section said "As there is no tax payable there is no tax summary"
In your own software? You should be able to print the calculation, which can be used in lieu of the SA302, and the tax year overview (not summary) from SA online.
We've never had a mortgage broker who would accept what our software (Sage) produces even though it is obviously accurate, easy to read and understand and gives exactly the same information as the SA302. We always have to ring the agent priority line to order them and it really miffs me how fast they send them out - to which the mortgage adviser says 'see I told you HMRC were efficient'! Argh!!!
Not sure why you are having a problem. SA302 still is available. I have just spoken to priority line - they sent 2 years last week SA302 and tax overview and now 2016 has been uplifted they are sending the third.
They seem quite resigned now that the mortgage lenders will never understand what they can accept
