Any flexibilty if miss deadline for coding out

Do HMRC have any flexibility if you miss the 30th December coding out deadline?

Didn't find your answer?

Unfortunately we missed the deadline for filing a clients tax return in order to dode out the tax liability. Hands up .. our fault!

Do HMRC have or show any flexibility in terms of allowing a claim to do this if the deadline is missed. I fear not but wonder if anyone has experience of a successful result with this?

In my experience, no. It is one of the areas they are utterly inflexible on and usually claim it is in fact impossible although they can manage to stick in whatever takes their fancy at any other time.

Nope, no flexibility at all. Even had a battle when it's been their fault.
