I have seen penalties before the deadline but this is because a paper tax return was filed after 31 October.

This happened last year when Trust Returns were filed on 2 January. An automatic fine was generated.

How they keep getting away with this is beyond me. Probably someone trying their luck to get bonus income of £65k.

No wonder they are working 7 days a week if they are filing all their company tax returns by the end of January ;)

Were they all on holiday when these penalties were issued ?
