so your trucking along with QB and using their helpful tools to do the clients vat returns. Fine for months and then Bam! quickbooks tells you there's an issue with MTD and HMRC. You duly look into this online and find out that you need to disconnect QB from HMRC and then reconnect and hey presto all your clients will be renewed. Except of course they aren't and support from qb on this is god awful. Does this sound familiar? We've been able to file using bridging software, but we're getting this on a monthly basis. Anyone else with this issue, and have you got it resolved? We took the decision months ago to stop recommending quickbooks due to their terrible service. If only the terrible support and platform were as slick as their marketing.

Fully sympathise with you but I find their marketing to be sick (in the old fashioned sense) not slick. It is misleading to the point of being dangerous.
Had an issue. Turns out it's HMRC. QB interrogates HMRC computers and then gets a message saying when the next VAT return date is. HMRC computers at times says no return due which is wrong. I checked via agent portal says no return due. QB support also checked and send me the HMRC coded response.
HMRC helpline not helpful at all. Above their paygrade. Took a year to get HMRC computers to send the correct code. Once done all worked in QB.
Also you have to reauthorise QB every 18 months. It's a HMRC rule.
So suggest you look at HMRC for the MTD issues.
I have had no issues with QB and MTD which originated from QB.
