Anyone recommend a good energy broker

Anyone recommend a good energy broker

Didn't find your answer?

I have a manufacturing client who uses circa £1m of electricity a year.

Their contract is due for renewal in the next 3 months - anyone have a good energy broker they can recommend to me to recommend to them?

We've just used BuyEnergyOnline

This was for about 40 megawatt/hours so around £4m.

In last Job

we had a few bad experiences with brokers so took it back in house. Its not rocket science to do if you have information like MPAN numbers and annual usage. Stay with the big boys like Brit Gas, Npower etc as some of the alternatives maybe slightly cheaper but are terrible to deal with.

Have you tried BIU?
In my previous employment we used about £2m of gas and electricity per annum. We engaged British Independent Utilities as brokers and they were able to deliver notable savings as well as dealing with changeover of contracts, new sites, etc. They were also able to negotiate longer payment terms than had we done it alone.

By being closer to the market they also had good intel on when prices were likely to increase and consequently whether it was beneficial to lock into a longer-term contract at fixed rates.

If you do contact them speak to Dakis Vasiliou, who was an extremely helpful and on-the-ball fellow.
