Apply for Income Tax Exemption

Apply for Income Tax Exemption for non-UK Trading

Didn't find your answer?

Hi,

So I am from Germany and started an LLP with a partner for an online shop in the UK. Since all warehouses, etc. will be in Germany though, my accountant said I could apply for an Income Tax Exemption on the Net profits generated from non-UK Trading. Now this would mean that I would have to pay those income taxes in Germany, which would be profitable for me. So I asked my accountant and they said that they could write a letter to HMRC to get this Exemption for me for 270 pounds. Now this seems a little too much for me for one letter, that I might be able to write myself as well. Can somebody confirm if I could write it myself as well, and if so, what is the process? Thank you in advance!

If it is required and if they can get that letter then it will be £270 extremely well spent.

You told us all that last time you posted looking for free advice despite having an accountant.

Proper financial advice tailored to your specific circumstances is worth the price. If you have appointed an accountant who you now have decided you don't trust, get a new one.

Why would the professional accountants, who are the target audience for this site, give you £270 worth of advice for nothing?
