It appears like The HMRC online PAYE service which shows the breakdown of PAYE due and payments made by month does not include the appreniceship levy. This means the balance due is incorrect.
Is it really the case that HMRC cannot update the HMRC PAYE breakdown on their business tax "PAYE for employers" service to reflect the apprenticeship levy four months after its actual introduction. Am I using an out of date service or something?
Upon logging in today it appears they have put a sticking plaster over the problem by just showing the message "Breakdown on next page does not include Apprenticeship Levy" when you click to see the breakdown. What? Why doesn't it?
I can't find anything online about this either from HMRC or from the profession.
