Are HMRC late with all their EoY P11D(b) letters?

Didn't find your answer?

Today I have seen two HMRC Payment of Class 1A NICs for tax year 2017-18. Both letters are dated 15th July. Both companies filed their returns before 5th July online using HMRC’s gateway. Both companies have paid their liabilities before 22nd July.

Has anyone else experienced this? Would you recommend taking action (I guess that would be calling them) or ignore the letters as (too) late documentation to be filed?

No.

Happens every year.

Yes we got the same letters. All dated 15 July but received on 13 August! We have decided to ignore these.
