ATED - error when registering business

Client getting error when registering as ATED business

We have had no issues with the ATED service previously, but from yesterday clients trying to submit registrations are reporting a non-helpful error message "".

Has anyone seen this issue and know what the cause is?

Hello, yes - after going round the houses, ours turned out to be because the client had already signed up to the ATED service. Assuming the same issue, you / the client will need the original Government Gateway account with which they registered for ATED.
