"Authorse Client Tab" in agent portal not working for last two days. I have received the code from clients but can't enter it because the tab is not working. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?

Thanks all the same for raising it here. We've checked in with HMRC about the issue and their press people are checking with the systems people.

We'll seek to get back to you with any official explanations - though that may be tricky with all the preparations going on for our Live Expo which starts in Coventry tomorrow morning.

In the meantime, it's also worth keeping an eye on the HMRC Agent Services Account availability page, but as yet nothing has been posted there:

I think the tricky bit is getting HMRC to get back to you, rather than the fact you are involved in Expo stuff. Plus the fact that they are asking everyone to phone them (mentioned on an earlier thread)

Plus the issue is that HMRC rarely update their availability pages and issues are always spotted by the members on here first. This has been fed back to HMRC ad nauseam.

Also setting up to have the VAT collected by direct debit has not been working for 2 days. Have to talk client through it each time and then it says service not available.
