Didn't find your answer?

Hi,

I am looking for the best provider of seminars for accountants, specifically covering Company Secretarial requirements but any recommendations would be appreciated!

Many thanks

We're looking to exhibit at a seminar/course, but I'll pass on your praise that will make him happy!

Company Secretarial is a bit of an add-on. Most accountants will take on the routine stuff but pass on anything more complex to people like FCLS. You're maybe barking up the wrong tree here.

I agree with lion that you are barking up the wrong tree.

Anyone putting on courses covering company secretarial matters would not be targeting them at accountants, or at least would not be wise to do so.

We do CPD training through SWAT - not sure if they already do a co sec option or would want to add it. We use you too so you do all the complicated stuff!

Mercia do an occasional "law for accountants" seminar.

So to say that Co Sec seminars are not targeted at Accountants (or shouldn't be) what would Accountants who file with Companies House, allot, transfer shares update registers etc. class this as?

That's just easy form filling that no-one needs to spend time on a course for. See what loan says above.

One of us is missing the other's point.

I'm just saying there aren't many such seminars around.

What's your object ? To find a seminar and make a sales presentation of some kind at it ?

Or to hold a seminar yourself ?

OK here's the situation.

We provide a product called FirstOrder Secretarial, which is a Cloud based system that allows you to administer your companies. 95% of our client base are Accountants.

We would like to promote the product at seminars held for Accountants, hence the request for any recommendations of good, credible providers.

Ah - well, that clarifies everything.

Mercia are srrong in these parts, SWAT a bit further south, plus local societies of the various professional bodies.

Depending on your presentation plan, I don't think you need to be there at a company secretarial course. Any old course would be fine, though a company accounts or company tax course would obviously give you a better chance of meeting your target market.

get a stand at Accountex 5000 accountants attend it although you will be alongside other providers who do similar to you.

Or speak with Sift who run this site about marketing your software to its audience.
