books on international tax

books on international tax

Didn't find your answer?

Sometimes I am asked by clients about the tax systems that apply abroad e.g US, Spain, Austrila.

Is there a good book that summarises these systems.

Online sources are probably your best bet here.

Something like www.ibfd.org is very comprehensive, and also quite expensive - and probably more than you need just for answering the occasional question.

Most accounting firms / networks / law firms produce information and introductory guides on certain countries eg http://www.deloitte.com/taxguides/ or http://www.nexia.com/InternationalTaxHandbook

Most books (my own included!) tend to focus on general principles of international tax planning, and the UK implications of cross-border activities.
