Somebody accidentally changed the tax year to 2015/16 on the company BPT account and it cannot be changed to 2019/20 easily – the system demands the completion of convoluted messy procedures before moving the years on. As backups exist, could I somehow restore the BPT data to the last valid version?
If the advice is to delete and then download the BPT, how do I then do the data restore?
Also, does the system do a complete backup on each exit (it is set up to do a backup) or does it backup only the last session, viz. do we need all the backups or can the old ones be deleted?
Thank you!

Jeez - you're not still using BPT, are you ?
There'll not be many people on here who can help you with BPT.

so what with the BPT. Me too use it
Restoring may work - make sure that you do a backup before you try anything in case it doesn't work.
You then need to go to Home/Restore Your Data and browse to find the most recent backup you have. Be careful, as this will remove details of any submissions made since that last back up.
