The Labour Party are asking themselves why it is that their supporters did not follow the advice of their MPs & party heirarchy and vote Remain.
Should they not instead be asking themselves why is it that the party heirarchy & MPs do not represent the views of their members & support Leave?
Have Labour got it back to front?

You don't have to search too hard to find videos of a young Corbyn slating the EU. I can't second guess the rest of the party elite, but he was certainly a reluctant remainer.
So many politicians from all the parties involved - except UKIP and SNP have been shown to be totally out of touch with voters. I know the vote was only 52-48% but that is quite significant
Politicians actually listening to the mugs who are daft enough to elect them? Now that would really be a novelty.
The flaw in the democratic system is that we have to vote for one of them. They don't give us the option of saying we don't want any of you.
There are too many MPs who just get the job straight out of university and never have proper jobs in the real world.
Consequently, they have [***] all experience and know nowt but, because they've got a degree in politics, they think they know everything.
Not strictly true, they play at working for MPs and work their way up for a few years before getting selected and elected, but yes they do nothing but politics so real world experience is pretty limited.
Why I respect some of the older politicians more, they have actually done something outside politics.

Dunno about that DJKL - Mhairi Black has to ask for time off school to go to Westminster, doesn't she?
C'mon, be reasonable, she was at University not school, and she is a bit of an exception.
What Brexit has demonstrated is that there are two definitions of Labour now: Today's party and its traditional supporters.
