Hi everyone

Just wondered if anyone is using Brightpay for their cloud payroll bureau software and how you are finding it ?

Many thanks, Maria

I don't think BrightPay have cloud payroll software.

Their desktop software connects to a cloud-based employee self-service portal - is this what you are alluding to? If so, it's perfectly fine and the price is good - I'm happy with it.

I started to use brightpay's cloud a few months ago for a couple of clients. As Tim mentions it's not actually a cloud payroll software.
I find it a good cloud tool for giving clients cloud access to their payroll reports. The self service portal is beneficial for employees to have their payslips online. It will eliminate the calls I get from clients asking for 6 months of payslips for an employee who is applying for a mortgage.
The few clients that do use it love the annual leave feature too.

I've been using BrightPay for some time now and I think it's excellent. It is extremely good value for money when you consider the fact that auto enrolment and CIS come as standard. Tim is correct though it isn't cloud based software it's desktop based.
Give the free trial on the website a go.

We used to use Moneysoft and transferred to BrightPay because of its auto-enrolment features. We are sticking with BrightPay because of that but found Moneysoft much better to use. We don't like the reports, and sometimes information doesn't seem to retained properly from one month to next.

This was the reason I looked at changing and the sames reasons that stopped me.

Glad I stayed with Moneysoft.

You can't go wrong with BrightPay, the software is excellent, very user friendly and it continues to evolve over time. I've never experienced an issue with the reports, in fact, I find them good. If I happen to need something more detailed or specific, I use the report writer to create a new report.
To my mind, nothing beats actually using it yourself, so if there is a free trial available, give it a go. Best of luck!

Big fan of BrightPay! It would be an understatement to say it's incredible value for money. I don't know how they make a profit but I have no complaints. Great software!
