Can an employer claim part furlough in June ?

Didn't find your answer?

A client has an employee who was furloughed, but as of 1st June came back to work part time hours (she usually works full time hours). Can the employer claim part furlough?

Thanks. I assume from July when the flexible furlough rules come in they can, but for this month there is no HMRC contribution to bew claimed.

On the subject but slightly different

Client is a sole director and is paid quarterly. Furloughed in March and claimed JRS. He went back to work 8th June 1.5 days per week.
I think he can claim for April & May ie 2/3 of the quarter. Am I correct / or not

I would claim April, May and 7 calendar days of June. Also any March days that are after and including date furloughed. Most of mine were 23rd, but we cannot change now what really happened
