Where are you based and what range of payrolls do you have (numbers of employees, monthly, weekly etc)?

I run a payroll outsourcing service specifically for accountants where we provide a "departmental" bolt on to the practice.

Our USP is that we look and feel like an extension to the practice because we brand exactly as the practice, answer calls as the practice (Hello, RJK Payroll....) set up email accounts as the practice, (e.g @rjkpayroll.com), set up a dedicated website as per the practice brand where clients (and workers) can login to access all of their current and historic reports, payslips etc and give complete access to all information to the practice's own users using a global login. (We can also adapt the website to be a marketing tool if required, to try and help the practice win other work through it's payroll offering).

This is all done using Moneysoft payroll manager and is all run remotely (using the cloud storage system of your choice, such as dropbox). Because it is on payroll manager, it can all be handed over to the practice Cart Blanche should they wish to take the payroll back in house in the future. We simply handover all back up files and away you go.

We work practice by practice to tailor the service exactly to the practice preferences rather than using a conveyor belt approach of "this is our service, you fit around it". I understand every practice is different (I know, I've worked in accountancy practices for 25 years).

Ultimately, all outsourced payroll providers will process the mechanics and technicalities of the payroll correctly. But many, if any, will run their service as an extension to yours in this way.

The proof - the end client's of the practices we work for still do not know we are outsourced, that means we are doing our job correctly.

Our website is www.bcpayrollservices.com

I'm happy to speak further if you are interested and want to PM me.

Good Morning
I am looking to outsource our payroll operation . We are a very small practice with over 360 clients ranging from sole traders to small limited companies. We have approx 42 payroll clients , 8 of whom also employ CIS subcontractors. There are approx 58 employees in these businesses and the pay frequency is nearly always monthly although we have one that is 4 weekly. I wonder if you could give me some idea of cost please?

AFH payroll based in Sussex is who I used when I ran my own practice. Fiona and the team are lovely. They work for practices across the country and can work so it looks like they’re part of your team. They still look after a number of clients and their Senta system is great for us to be able to access client data for YE accounts and tax returns.

Hi,

I would recommend Brightpay as it is economical as well as userfriendly. All the necessary filings are done directly from software and also payslips can be sent directly with password protection from software itself.
Also, we are emerging as payroll outsource partner with less and best rate in market.

If you wish to consider our services please PM me.

Hi,

I can highly recommend Angela Parker and VSM payroll.

They deal with all of my non director only payroll and have done so for a few years now.

All of my clients are very happy and, importantly, Angela provides reports in a format that works for us using Brightpay.

I know a few companies that already do this for a number of accountants.

All of them offer a white label solution which could have your practice URL and logo on the log on page. They all mainly - if not exclusively - use cloud software and therefore they can give you access to the areas that you want to extract information for, while also providing employee and employer portal access for things like payslips, reports, timesheet uploads etc.

I've gone for alphabetical order:

CJ Bookkeeping - https://cjbookkeeping.co.uk - Clare Haynes
Lite Consulting - http://www.litepayroll.co.uk - Simon Gibbs
Your Payroll Team - https://yourpayrollteam.com - Kevin Waller

All of them are used to working with practices nationwide, so location shouldn't be an issue. The teams at all 3 are all conscientious, hardworking and friendly - so easy to deal with and they've all stacks of payroll knowledge and experience, so I'm always very comfortable in recommending them.
