The cover would be for the cost of taking staff away from the day to day and hiring specialists, not the potential cost of errors

Get them to check their present business policy. Many already includes an element of cover. Obviously they need to read the fine print.
Check things like FSB and other memberships too, that sometimes includes the insurance. We use croner but not sure if they will do a one client policy
