Can I offset my NIC against past year profit?

This is last year of my company, can I offset my NIC against past year profit?

Didn't find your answer?

This is last year of my company and I plan to wind it down this year. There is no revenue and income but only salary, can I offset my NIC against past year profit?

Could you provide more details?

On the face of it, that question doesn't make sense.

Also, it sounds as if you might be missing a bigger picture.

My guess
CJRS is income
Dirs rem at minimum are the payments
BUT a tiny amount of of ERNIC not reimbursed by the state subsidies to keep open the nonexistent job
All paid of course by me, my children and my grandchildren.
No accounts fees as Aweb exists

Based on prior question
No responses and no pressing thanks button

Move on nothing worth bothering with

Since I think Paul is probably on the right track and I don’t think you should be entitled to any more help, I will give you my brief view. No, you cannot carry back the loss if the company had already ceased trading before the cost arose.
