Can my client get Furlough payment

Earning revenue from last year

Didn't find your answer?

My client a sole director of a limited company who arranges finance for businesses has been earning £500 a month for a factoring deal that he closed last year.

He has just said that he has not been working since March - would he be eligible for Furlough ? The guidance isn't very clear on the timing of earning revenue for limited company.

Sounds OK.

The company can earn money as long as he doesn't work.

Did you file RTI in February and have you filed RTI for at least the amount to be claimed from April? Is the company still trading?

Who has been earning the £500 per month? The director (i.e. as salary from his company) or the company itself?
