Can we form this company?

to be fca registered

Didn't find your answer?

We are accountants that form the occasional company. We have been asked to form a company that will then apply to be fca registered under a regulated activity.

I have advised that we would be unable to complete any annual accounts etc as we are not registered auditors.

But are we still allowed to form the company, which will in effect be dormant until they have used a compliancy service to register with the FCA.

I just want to check that we are ok to do the initial company formation on this?

Do not really see why not providing regulated activities only take place after you are no longer office bearers.

Form, hand to clients, thereafter nothing to do with you.
