Can you cancel a CRJS claim submitted

Is it too late to delete claim

Didn't find your answer?

Client wishes to change the July flexi furlough dates for her employee for this week.

The July payroll was submitted on Friday and also the CJRS claim submission to HMRC. I noticed on the HMRC site that there is still an option to delete the claim, can I just go ahed and delete and then send the claim again? Obviously I 'll need to amend the payroll as well.

I now wait until after the end of the month before filing CJRS for exactly this reason. I have a client with a large number of staff & they invariably do different hours in the last week to what was planned when I do the payroll the week before. So the CJRS claim goes in accurately but any resulting payroll changes (eg pay/deduct any extra hours & pay/deduct any extra furlough) occur in next month's payroll. It's a bit of a dog's dinner but the best that can be done.

You will have to call them, unless there will be a claim next month in which case you can show the overclaim.

You can delete and resubmit within 72 hours. Otherwise it's a phone call where its a "by word of mouth" re doing. They cancel and you have to read out the whole caboodle for everyone . I was an hour out once and had to do that. I too now wait until all is done for the month.
