Can you liquidate an unregisteted club

A tenant with a lease on a social club ended their tenancy

The club was not a registered business & produced no accounts.

They have debts in excess of £70k & the trustees are trying to go insolvent or trying to liquidate " the club".

The owners/ landlandlord has sold the proper that was vacated by the tenant in June 2018.

How can they do this.

The likelihood is no.

The creditors can in theory sue each of the members for the whole debt and see who cracks first.

But feel free to tell us more about this club.

Duplicate post.

Can you expand on what you mean by 'how can they do this?'

How can who do what? How can the company become insolvent or the landlord sell its property?

Yes the Company can be liquidated, even though it's not registered.
