Cashflow forecastng software

Cashflow forecastng software

Didn't find your answer?

When I used to work in practice we used Sage Winforecast, but this doesn't seem to be available as a standalone package anymore.

I don't have the time to build my own excel model and therefore would prefer an off the shelf package.  Does anyone have any suggestions ?

FD4Cast

In a previous practice role for our clients I made fairly extensive use of FD4Cast - http://fd4cast.com/ - and was very impressed.

It is Excel based so you have the option of a blank sheet and the full power of excel to calculate your business drivers which can then be linked into the forecast model, or you can just enter figures directly into the model.

Can confirm that I am not connected with the software company.

Replacing Winforecast
There is an off the shelf cloud solution which has been written as a direct replacement for Winforecast.
Named Crunchboards the app draws its information directly from Xero data. Developed by business owners for business owners the app is extremely powerful and flexible.

Forecast 5

disclaimer- I did work for the developer until they ran out of cash and made me redundant. It was specifically written to replace winforecast.

They have UK resellers, and you can approach me directly also.

Float Cashflow Forecasting

Float is an integrated cashflow forecasting tool in the cloud that you can use to build your forecast in minutes.

It integrates and imports your data from Xero or FreeAgent (QuickBooks coming soon) and allows you to set budgets, compare actuals and test scenarios on your cashflow. It's like a living spreadsheet that you can drill down into and that automatically updates.

Float doesn't work as a standalone product, but if you're using one of the accounting platforms I mentioned, it's a great option to save time and get an accurate forecast.

Disclaimer: I work in product development and user support for Float.

Gosh!

There seem to be more people developing cashflow forecasting software than actually using it.
