Cashflow software

Looking for robust cashflow software, including P&L and Balance sheet reporting.

Didn't find your answer?

Hi All,

I was just wondering whether anyone has found any software that rivals SAGE WinForecast for cashflow forecasting. A lot of those on the market either overly simplify the cashflow projection, or are not very user-friendly.

Although WinForecast was a little clunky, it does everything we accountants need to produce comprehensive cashflow, P&L and Balance Sheet reports.

Forecast5 works like winforecast. It is desktop based.

Closest cloud equivalent is castaway

After that you have the usual suspects of Futrli, Spotlight Reporting, Float and Fluidly. All these do cashflows but not really like winforecast.

FD4Cast - Excel template, does pretty much everything that WinForecast did, but you can also customise it.

Depends what you are doing, but loads of choice these days, although none really compare to how good Winforecast was for the price.

All the usual suspects Marks recommends are very good, I would add LivePlan to the list I use if doing a full plan for a bank or something as it allows you include all the text stuff into 1 "Pitch" report and presentation is really good.

I have moved away from Excel for this type of thing now.

I always liked sage winforecast and to be honest I haven't found anything better over the years.

Just started with Futrli
Its cloud based
Links to Xero and Quickbooks
can do Sage imports as well

Impressed with what it can do and how easy its is to create reports and navigate around it.
