CGT on Sale of shop

CGT on Sale of shop

Didn't find your answer?

If One purchases a shop for say £25k in 1980, used it to trade from in their business until say 1990, and then rents out the shop am I correct in the following:

Obviously no indexation allowance available so the gain is proceeds less MV at March 82?

Also, no entrepreneurs relief available as the asset was not sold within three years of ceasing to trade.

No indexation Allowance ?

There would be if the enterprise is run via a Ltd Co
