I have just logged on to our Agent account (the old school one, nothing to do with MTD) to review how a particular client's payments have been allocated. Eg under Your current client/View account/Payment and Credits received.
I clicked on the client's name and it opens up the new style Revenue webpages. Ok, that's fine, they are uglier and more difficult to navigate but not the end of the world. But it turns out that you can no longer have the option of seeing the Payments/Credits received or much of the other previously available info.
I spoke to the Agent Dedicated line but they do not have access to the new pages and have no guidance available to help finding this info. They recommended i call back in a week to see if their own systems have been updated.
I suspect they are going to tell us we have to rely on the HMRC statements to see where payments have been allocated. I can't be the only one to find these documents almost incomprehensible.
It's bad luck for me that the client i was looking at appears to be one of the first to be moved onto the new system, but i can't see any rationale behind them taking away this info. I'm sure they'll find a way to claim it's "due to data protection".
Has anyone else who has seen these new style pages managed to find this info?

I had no problem this morning @ 9.30 All the old information was there as usual and the site looked the same
The question is why are they doing this. Breaking the mould of an information site that works well
yes, had several today, in one case the wife is now under the new system but the husband under the old - they are, as the poster said, ugly & not at all user friendly - great move by HMRC!
I've just done the same and agree it is awful.
I have howver found the POA's (which is what I was searching for) via>
Current client > view account > Tax Years > "Less payments for this year" = dates and amounts of the POA's.
Information as to payments and sums due is available via the MTD apis. (for the purposes of VAT).
I haven't encountered this yet, but it seems to me it's just more of the same marginalising tax agents.
The problem they have is, we know what we are talking about. So restrict us, we are no longer a problem.
Just logged in to post this same question but you'd already done so. Good to know it's not just our log in they've broken.
Thought at first they just made the pages look as ugly as the rest of the site only to find essential information missing.
