For several years I have used VT for the preparation of accounts for Companies House and clients. After the withdrawal of the CT600 software for agents by HMRC, I took out a subscription for Tax Filer. This software also includes accounts preparation, which I have been experimenting with, but have run into a snag. I have a client with "Leasehold improvements" disclosed in the fixed asset note. Tax Filer only seems to include "Land and Buildings" in its default chart of accounts. Is it possible to either change this description or add a new line to the trial balance for it? I have been looking but cannot seem to find a way.
