can someone shed some light on the following,
I am a registered HMRC agent. Recently I have moved and wrote to HMRC agents maintainer department. They have updated my address details for CT and VAT. However they still have my old email and address in their system.
I called HMRC and spoke to few people and no has a clue and also there are no phone numbers to contact the HMRC agent maintainer team.
Anyone had this experience with HMRC?
Thanks in advance for your help.

So what addresses have they been unable to change?
We recently moved and apart from 3 clients with no 64-8 for PAYE it all went well.
You might have to change email in the online filing area.
I have just moved, and needed to change my address and phone numbers in the HMRC agent records but my Email address stayed the same. I an registered for SA and CT only. I found:
I could change all my details in the CT record online; The only information I could change online in the SA record was my Email address (not that I needed to); When I rang the agent helpline to ask how to change my address in the SA record they said I had to write to the Agent Maintainer team;I wrote to the Agent Maintainer team and they actioned my request swiftly and accurately.
Why you can change everything for CT online but have to use snail mail to achieve the same result for SA is beyond me.
You're not alone
I'm also having ongoing issues when moving address, informed Agent Maintainer, they amended my address records for nearly everything but whenever I submit a 64-8 for VAT it still goes to my old address (online, SA, CT and PAYE all fine) Tried speaking with HMRC, they couldn't help, have written to Agent maintainer twice but nothing has changed, I shall just have to keep writing, it's only been 2 years now! How great it would be to work in a firm/department where you simply refuse to take phone calls and are accountable to no-one.
Me too!
I moved over 6 years ago and notified HMRC at the time. I thought all was fine until I recently started using online authorisation. I then discovered that my PAYE agent record still has my old address. I contacted the Agent Maintainer by post and they telephoned to tell me there is nothing they can do - they suggested that I call the online helpline. I'm so busy that it's on my list of things to do after 31 January (the tax return deadline).
VAT not updated
I have just experienced the same problem. Thought everything had been amended. Just spoke to someone re VAT for a client and they still had my old address. Said only way to change it was to send in a PAPER 64-8 for each client. I pointed out how ridiculous that sounded but they were insistent it was the only way!
