changing submitted payroll figures

after scheme has been shut down

Didn't find your answer?

I know that I'm going to get slated by some people for this, but hey ho.

A payroll scheme has been shut down. We now have need to change the figures which were submitted. Is this possible & if so how?

Thanks

CY. It was shut down in November 19.

HMRC once told me that if a payroll is closed in the current year or the year before then the best way to open it is by sending in an FPS. Worth a try ?!

I'd go with an amended FPS as suggested.

Yes just go ahead and amend. I think its within two years you can just use the same payroll ref and carry on. After you have done your amended FPS I would sguggest a further final EPS otherwise HMRC may expect you to be carrying on
