Chat Application for Website

Chat Application for Website

Didn't find your answer?

Recently I made some purchases for the practice.

The normally annoying chat pop ups on some websites proved to be helpful. I used them to get further information. I received an instant response  that resulted in me to placing  an order.

I am exploring chat functionality for our website. Do you have this? If so, how is it going for you? Would you have this?

Any recommendations on website chat applications?

Thanks

I have it but unless you have many visitors to the website then not worth bothering.

Do you mean like a 'live chat' option you can choose instead of phoning a call centre?

If so I'd presume that they'd only be useful for large businesses, where direct personal contact via phone/email isn't possible, and where it has the staff available to respond immediately.

I'd say it depends on a) your traffic levels and b) whether or not you can actively man it.

Thanks for the response. We have a good number of visits on our website.

I came across this by well respected Zendesk

www.zopim.com

I think the free Version would be adequate for us. I am likely to trial it for 6 months.

I will make sure it only pops up when a visitor clicks live chat. This way it would it not be so annoying.

It is far more annoying when you click to chat ... and wait ... and wait ... etc.
Do you have the staff available to respond instantly?

Live chat ... Enabling local accountants to get a rough idea of price very quickly without having to go past the person on reception.
