Is it possible for minors to buy shares in a family company and receive dividends without the dividends being taxable on the parents?

If the purchase was made with money gifted by the parents it would, I am sure, be a parental disposition and the income would therefore be taxable upon the parents.

What would happen to the dividends when they were paid?

In addition to the question about source of funds, I have another: How are they establishing fair market value for the shares?
