can anyone recommend a suitable and reasonable software for CIS deductions? Tried HMRC online tools but they are not without problems. Looking to add this for a limited company operating in the construction market. Thanks.

Anything wrong with Moneysoft payroll? It’s fine for CIS 300 submissions, subcontractor statements etc.
Another vote for Moneysoft
Also, on the off-chance you use Xero, they have added some CIS functionality recently. You cannot submit CIS300's but it will generate deduction vouchers if you don't already have templates. Not as useful as Moneysoft though.
Moneysoft- we use it for our PAYE & CIS clients, works brilliantly.
Hi Paul,
Clear Books has great CIS functionality and a London-based product development team working to constantly improve it! I'll PM you with more information.

Avoid HMRC Basic Tools if you can, there’s a reason why it’s called 'Basic Tools'! Brightpay handles CIS really easily. Clear books is a bit expensive and charge per month. BP or MS seems like the logical choice in this instance and I would imagine they work out cheaper than most other options on the market.
Bright Pay is great at handling CIS payments and receipts. Unlimited subcontractors, great support, loads of reports that you can play around with and of course the monthly subcontractor statements, which can be printed, emailed etc
BrightPay... very reasonably priced, unlimited sub-contractors. I think they offer a free trial on their website.
