Help where are they? Clients ordered them 10 days ago and still not arrived by post. Some clients were activated automatically midway through last week. What on earth is going on? So those clients who were proactive and applied for PAYE online once the portal details were announced are now being penalised because their activation codes havent arrived.
However, those clients that did everything last minute have been able to activate without a code. Unfair system!

Get them on the phone, walk them through creating a PTA and adding the PAYE section, it gets added instantly so no need to wait for anything.
Once that's done you can walk through how to claim, the link to claim is a bit round the houses though so make sure you know where to direct them first. Its embeded in all the Covid 19 information pages.
