Claim a LTD companies surplus CIS

Surplus CIS

Didn't find your answer?

In previous years we as agents have completed a HMRC online form to claim the surplus CIS on our clients behalf , which was subsequently paid direct to them .

Has this changed , as we can not find any link or mention of this service on HMRC`s website.

Thanks

Link below to the claim form:

You will need the Government Gateway ID and password:

I believe you will now need your Agent Services Account login, rather than the older Government Gateway one.

I keep getting referred to this:

Register with the agent subscription service
You need to register with the agent subscription service before you can use this service.

You will then be able to use your new Government Gateway credentials to sign in.

Appears you have to register for a new "A S S" (aptly named - agent subscription services) - tried this and it then told me I already had an ASA (agent services account) - as is usual I'm going all around the houses and a 10 min job is taking hours.

yes it's the new ASA login you need (the MTD for VAT one). They've slipped that in under the radar.........

Finally managed to get my claim filed now - you need to delete your cache/browsing history first or it keeps seeing the historic agent account rather than new agent services account. HMRC could have advised this!

I am also experiencing problems claiming CIS deductions for my clients. I have already done three this year but now can't seem to find the right link. At one stage ,it said I needed an agent services account so I signed in with that but, at present, that only deals with VAT! I am going round in circles.
