Client still on Furlough for June

How can they claim

Didn't find your answer?

I have been chasing a client to know if they were still on Furlough for June no reply and now they tell me today they were on Furlough !

I understand cut off to claim June Furlough is 31st July.  Is there anyway they can claim now ?

Doubt it, but you could try calling HMRC to see if they'll treat it as an under claim and accept figures over the phone.

I vote no.

Annoying but it's not your fault.

Not your fault. They had a complete month even from the last day of June to reply.
It is only one month. They can still claim July and following months.

I had one that I had been trying to resolve and got the final decision just after 10PM yesterday

On the plus side, I find that clients who have made costly errors are much more likely to be compliant in the future.

My vote - no.

Worth a call.

Expensive mistake should mean they respond to emails/chasers in a more timely fashion.

I often think clients think we have nothing better to do than ask for stuff we dont really need and chase for no reason.

I'd be inclined to tell them no as they took to long to reply. Might make them bother abit harder next time.

Not a response - just pushing the spam posts off the page
