Contractor Ltd Client with one director stopped trading in June 2017 and year end is 31st October 2017. The director wishes to close down the company and there will be no other transactions prior to 31st October 2017
We have just filed the accounts and corporation tax return upto 31st October 2017.
We will go through the closing formalites i.e DS01 etc. Do we have to notify HMRC Corporation Tax Department seperately that the company is being closed down and if so what information should we provide

Information that will reassure them there is no outstanding tax and so prevent them sticking their oar in.
