Cloud email archiving

cheap solution anyone?

Didn't find your answer?

I'm looking for a cloud system that sits in the background of Outlook and quiety archives all emails in & out. The majority of ones that I've seen aren't cloud based, but I'm trying to move away from my physical server so they're a 'no go'. Most of the others seem to be c£30pcm/user, which is way too expensive.

I've looked at Jatheon Cloud (£30pa/user - much more reasonable), but can't get the trial to work and am waiting for someone to arrange a demo with me.

Are there any other options that anyone uses/can recommend?

Thanks

Hi there, I think you are on the right track with putting in email archiving which provides great peace of mind. We use and sell a product called Email Protection and Archive (Not very inventive but it works just the same). We offer this as a fully managed solution with daily email protection reports, DMARC, DKIM and SPF support so that spam does not get archived! The price depends on the number of protected mailboxes. If you'd like more information then feel free to send me a PM.

Why not switch to O365?

We are on that.

Does it let you search other people’s emails? Can you strict the access (ie only me can search my emails?)

If sharing emails is a primary consideration, may be worth you looking at Front app. We use it, had my ups and downs with them over the years but it works well enough and is affordable.

You can kinda pick and choose what's shared...ie make other staff member's emails shared but not yours if that's what you want.

Using Exchange Online mailbox sharing, folder sharing is possible.

Office 365 has archiving capablities and does provide a search facility. However my view has been that for business continuity and DR archiving should be held in a separate system. In fact journaling has always been about that.
