Cloud S/W suitable for pre numbered sales invoices

Looking for new cloud software that allows entry for prenumbred paper invoices

Currently using Sage 50c for a client who issues pre numbered paper sales invoices on site. Invoices are currently entered manually into sage using these numbers, if copies are requested these are the numbers used by their customers. Looking to go cloud based, are there any cloud based solutions that will enable me to enter the paper invoice numbers rather than start sequentially at 0001. If not then do any of the solutions allow easy 'statement' amends to show 'PO/Invoice' along with new invoice number? 

Note: Although paper invoices are sequential each employee holds their own ie A will have 5000-5049, B will have 5050-5099 & C will have 5100-5149 as each employee works at different rates, each month would be a mixture from A,B & C.  Hope this explains it a bit easier. Thank you

FWIW in Xero you can over-write the auto generated invoice number with whatever you want (as long as it is unique). I'm surprised you can't do that in Sage50c...

Autoentry, which is owned by Sage, would allow you to scan and automatically post the sales invoices. If you don't want to move from Sage that would be my starting point

FreeAgent, Xero or QBO will let you overwrite the generated numbers. We have several clients who still issue hand written invoices that we duplicate on the cloud software for them. Xero also allows you to import invoices by csv file. :-)

You absolutely used to be able to manually change invoice numbers in Sage50 - it may be a setings / configuration box to tick/untick - but it is a pain.

Manual entry isn't really efficient but I can see why you started it. But perhaps it's time to make a change?
As others have said use some kind of automation. AutoEntry will definitely integrate - you can get the sales people to upload to Autoentry -can be done on a smartphone by email.
or perhaps have a mobile app on your chosen accounts software which allows them to create & issue invoices in the system directly without having access to other features. Sage 50 has a mobile app if you don't want to start with changing the entire accounts system although probably online accounting softwares would be easier to use all round.
Good luck - changing systems or integrating new bits is always a bit painful - but usually worth it in the end!

Mobile2Sage will allow you to create the existing paper based dockets using an iPad / iPhone / Browser using pre defined number ranges i.e. it will check that the correct sequence has been used based on the logged in user.
