Companies House becoming more efficient?

Companies House commencing compulsory striking offs sooner than it used to?

Didn't find your answer?

Is it me or is Companies House beginning to commence the compulsory striking off procedure sooner than it used to when either a Confirmation Statement and/or accounts have missed the filing deadline?

Its just I seem to have had a few new clients coming to me  in this position when the filings are maybe two months overdue compared to a couple of years ago when you could have two years accounts due.

Regards

Mark

It certainly seems to be the case. Delay filings with Companies House at your peril!

Yes - just had the warning letter for a co with CS01 4 weeks Ltd and a/cs 2 weeks late!

It’s a slippery slope to state forced spongebob-ness ...

I've found they've been quick off the mark for many a year (certainly the last ten or so).

I also think that they look at company filings before strike off commences.

Long established company with many years of filing, and are late with the CS - bit longer before strike off commences.

No filings except incorporation and only one director - strike off starts pretty much as soon as the first confirmation statement goes overdue.
