Annual Accounts submission deadline missed. Has Companies House stopped sending out the reminders?
Thanks

Penalties start at £150. Failure to file the Confirmation Statement quickly leads to a two month period prior to compulsory striking off; letters are still sent for those. Lucky.
The e-reminder service is recommended.
Get a few addresses registered - you never know when someone will change his email address and forget to tell CoHo.
We're still receiving CH reminders for both accounts & confirmation statement. We haven't asked for e-mails
Let us know how you get on. My understanding is that reminders are a courtesy and there's no obligation for them to be issued.
Effectively, you should know the deadlines.
I've appealed. Although reading through posts on here then it seems to be proving that they didn't send them which seems to me like you've lost the race already! Still, nothing ventured and all that!
Alas the requirement is to comply with the Companies Act; not to comply with the Companies Act only if reminded.
The systems are always tilted in favour of the people that rule us!
I would suggest not on this occasion. Companies House are the custodian of the depository. They are following rules too. Companies House do not specify the period in which you must file the accounts; s442 Companies Act 2006 does. If you refer to s451 of the Act you can figure out the likely success of your appeal. Being able to refer to those rules I find very helpful; whether tilted in my favour nor not. Importantly I find being able to check on companies at Companies House very useful. If the Confirmation Statement is at odds with what they tell me or the accounts are overdue; it often tells me all I need to know. Obviously this is just my personal view.
Kind regards
Dave
lionofludesh is correct - reminders are a courtesy not a legal requirement.
And I will tell you right now - you won't win your appeal. Don't even waste your time trying. Winning against Co House is notoriously difficult especially in these circumstances as it is an important submission date. Co House's response will be'tough - you have 9 months to submit'.
All agents and anyone who submits to Co House should join their email scheme as it is an efficient automated reminder system.
And its not the Confirmation statement that attracts the penalties but non submission of accounts
