Accounts ready for submission, company name change occurred at start of current financial year, so was still known as old name prior.
Taxfiler is giving me warning thet the name is different to that showing at Co House, and may cause delays in the accounts being accepted, but I can still submit if I'm happy to go ahead. Is that likely to cause any issues if I do?

Would it not be easier to change the details in Taxfiler to those shown on Companies House ? Then they should be accepted without delay or risk of rejection.
Simple to make the change on Taxfiler.
Potentially it will do. Just change the name in Taxfiler - you’re going to have to do it anyway next year!
TaxCalc won’t let you file if the name isn’t identical.
You should disclose BOTH:-Thanks. My concern was that the accounts relate to oldname ltd rather than newname ltd, but reading the replies this shouldn't cause any problems.
e.g Section 3.13(a)) of FRS105
3.13 A micro-entity shall clearly identify each of the financial statements and the notes. In addition, a micro-entity shall display the following information prominently, and repeat it when necessary for an understanding of the information presented:
(a) the name of the reporting entity and any change in its name since the end of the preceding reporting period;
Never mind your software. Companies House will reject the accounts if the name doesn't agree with what they have on their records.
