What would you recommend for a good company secretarial software ?
I just require it for a few companies.

FCLS charge about £8 a year, on a company by company basis.
See if it does what you need to do.
Inform direct https://www.informdirect.co.uk/
They have a sliding scale for accountants so 5 companies would be about £8 pm.
Their detailed guidance on anything to do with Co Sec is brilliant.
Yes I would highly recommend FirstOrder Secretarial (firstorderuk.co.uk)
Not that I work for them or anything :-)
Inform Direct has never let us down. Nice people. Great software. Does what it says on the tin!
Inform Direct looks good. Does it integrate with any practice management software, like Senta or Accountancy Manager, etc.? Also, does it update itself automatically in real time from Co House and warn you if, for example, someone has filed a change of ARD directly at Co House (by-passing InformDirect), so that you can easily spot in ID that the filing deadline has changed?
I'm not sure about InformDirect, but FirstOrder Secretarial will sync each night with Companies House and also update the ARD if submitted directly with Companies House. You can also perform a 'check & compare' to validate the information you hold with the Companies House records.
I should quit while I'm behind really shouldn't I...
Hi Charlie - I'm pretty sure ID doesn't do either of these.
With regard to integration with any PM, I've never needed it as my stat work tends to be few & far between and ID's reminder system and client dashboard makes it easy to monitor.
Similarly, I've not needed to worry about ID going out of sync with Cos Hse as, just like in the days of proper company secretaries, only one person tends to be responsible for stat work for my clients, ie me or the client. Consequently, with one client who has 20-30 outside shareholders, they have their own subscription and are primarily responsible for doing the work.
