Didn't find your answer?

it its still possible to use a salary sacrifice scheme for company vehicles?

Well, sort of - but there's no advantage.

The benefit will be the higher of the scale benefit and the salary sacrificed so you can only be worse off.

The key is to avoid choice.

1. Yes
2. Depends

Conclusion, crunch the numbers and look at the alternatives.

...or indeed
1)Yes
2)Maybe - it depends on the car particularly from next year.

With more electric vehicles becoming available, with ranges becoming akin to some petrol cars, it can still work

“You can have a salary of £80k or you can have a salary of £79k plus a £150k car with annual running costs of £20k plus fuel for your 40,000 private miles.

I haven’t crunched the numbers but I suggest that would ‘work’. It is of course an extreme and unlikely scenario but the point is that it is fact-dependent.

When you say "vehicle" is it a company car or a company van?
