Convertible Loan note

Convertible Loan note

Didn't find your answer?

Hi,

I run a small tech start up and have recently signed a convertible loan note that enables me to get 150k investment. The loan will convert when the company raises a 1.5m round. The note has a valuation cap of the company at 2.75m. How do you work out how many shares the company would get if the company raised the 1.5m round at a valuation of 2.75m or 20m for example

You will need to provide a lot more information. Your question is just a matter of arithmetic, but you do not provide any of the the information to do the arithmetic with.
