Correcting a Furlough Grant Claim?

HMRC said not to correct Furlough Grant claims by adjusting future claims. So how is it done?

Didn't find your answer?

Quite simply, a client made their own furlough claim and it was wrong.

HMRC had said that it didn't want claims to be corrected by making adjustments in subsequent months and it would introduce a mechanism to do this.

Did I miss it?  I can't find anything and I would like to help my client sort this if I can.

Thanks

We're all still waiting to hear that a portal is up and running for corrections. I would guess that's several months away given how long it took them to set up a portal to reclaim SSP

No, HMRC have issued no guidance, and as I've said elsewhere, I care not a jot for what HMRC do or don't say. If it needs corrective action, I take whatever corrective action is available to me. I don't want my client's claims being put at risk because HMRC are crap at what they do.
