Out of the blue an email from ex-client stating that his company's bank account was frozen following DS01 route. DS01 filed by the Director in April, Company dissolved in August-21.
Of course, we have clearly informed our ex-client at the time to transfer remaining funds from the bank account once the Corporation Tax and PAYE is paid. Needless to say, it has not been done and now the balance after CT & PAYE results in over £10,000 being frozen by CountingUp.
Court Order Restoration is an obvious route but it's not something we are keen on undertaking on behalf of this Client - We wouldn’t want to deviate from being accountants to being legal help. Not even sure, without checking with our Professional Body if we can assist in such work, in the first place.
So, we’re looking at some recommendation that we can pass to our ex-client and not just google ads…

Ouch - this is a costly mistake for the client to have made!
I can recommend a Solicitor who recently helped me restore a Company but it doesn't come cheap I'm afraid.
