Covid 19 SSP and underlying health issues

SSP is payable for workers who have to self isolate due to underlying health issues

Didn't find your answer?

SSP is payable to workers who have to self isolate due to underlying health issues, recovery of the SSP is available to the employer for only 2 weeks after that no recovery, the worker has been told to self isolate for 12 weeks. The Job retention Scheme is not available as the  employee is not being laid off as the job is still there. The advice from HMRC is for the employer to get a loan as nothing in place for such situations as yet. Just thought I would share this information with you all.
