Employee required to work from home-costs of upgraded internet connection

Following Covid 18 lockdown employee works from home. Her internet connection is inadequate to support her work. Her expenditure on upgrading to a faster and more reliable service is reimbursed by her employer. Is there a taxable benfit?

HMRC guidance hasn't caught up with internet connections, but their guidance on home phone lines is here: https://www.gov.uk/expenses-and-benefits-home-phones
