I've had a good experience with Creditsafe recently and was pretty impressed with their service.
However, I've had 2 phone calls from clients recently who used to subscribe to say the sales team at Creditsafe are saying 'I know you used to be a customer and aren't anymore, but you've had an awful lot of searches against your company lately and your credit score is fluctuating dramitically so we were contacting you to see if everything was OK and if you wanted to sign back up so you can see'
Fine if it was true, however I did the searches on the companies. There were barely any searches against them and a consistent credit score.
Pretty poor in my opinion

Surprising they aren't actually using salt to salt the mine.
They're bound to get found out if folk sign up and then find out that it wasn't true.
There's always a sucker.
Personally, I'd want some proof before I signed up but we're not all the same.
Nothing you can do about it although thanks for making us aware.
Have experienced horrible sales tactics from them in the past. Recently, they tried to call me multiple times every day for 4 days straight, until I finally gave up and blocked their number and reported it for spam.
As usual, deeply confused as to why an accountants in practice would care about a company's credit score. We should be aware that it is utterly meaningless & arbitrary but more to the point, we shouldn't be extending credit anyway in the days of fixed fees and monthly payments.
Do they do AML checks as well?
But you could be forgiven for thinking that people were obsessed with their credit scores given the barrage of advertising ways of improving them.
